Amb Okwudili exercises sadness and sympathies with people of Onitsha over tank Explosion

 A loaded fuel tanker exploded at Upper Iweka Onitsha and a vast portion has been gutted by fire on Wednesday. 

On the incident the, President (GYR)Global Youths Representative Amb Okwudili Victor sympathised with victims and people of Onitsha. He has this to say:

“I received with sadness, report of a tanker explosion in Onitsha, ... caused massive destruction to lives and properties in Ochanja Market area.

I  sorrowfully sympathize with the families of those that lost their lives, Businesses, Valuables at the Upper Iweka Onitsha Anambra state Fuel thanker explosion.

 It is  with deep sense of pity, sadness and grief that I received the news of this ugly incident which could have been curtailed had it been the Anambra State fire service which these market traders pay taxes to fund, had arrived the scene of the ugly incident on time, many goods and properties of the Traders mostly youths would not have been lost.

Youths who have on their own created employments for themselves outside the proposed white collar jobs which are not readily in supply. 

We call on the Anambra state government to be more proactive in the affairs of governance as  the peoples welfare is the only reason they are in Government. 

I commend the youths who did their best in arresting the situation with out waiting for the government and we all say OzoEmena!!! "

The incident that happened killed at least 3 people and properties worth million of naira were lost.
